Living Light Haven & Births was born from my own womb, and not just from the four children I’ve carried, three of them brought forth in the quiet strength of home, but from the deeper knowing that birth is more than biology. It is divine. It is ancestral. It is transformational.
This work means everything to me. It is my way of protecting the sacredness of birth, of restoring ancestral practices long buried under silence, and of offering true, intuitive presence to every woman who invites me in. I carry the wisdom of both my Urhobo and Yoruba lineages, where birth was not feared but honored, where women were not left alone, but held in stillness, strength, and spirit.
As a doula, I bring more than support — I bring experience, intuition, nurturing energy, and stillness in the storm. I walk with you, not ahead of you. I don’t tell you how to birth, but I remind you that you already know how.
I honor every kind of birth; whether you are giving birth at home, in a hospital, at a birth center, through VBAC, cesarean, unmedicated, or medicated. Every journey is sacred. Every outcome deserves reverence. I am here to support your way of birthing with compassion and care.
I offer spiritual care, postpartum support, and gentle womb-centered guidance for those who want more than checklists. I believe in informed choice, cultural reverence, and the power of every woman’s voice. You deserve to be heard. You deserve to be held. You deserve to birth with dignity.
I believe birth is a portal. It is a threshold between worlds. In my own births, I felt myself reach into the stars to bring my children down to earth. That moment of transition where the body stretches and the spirit opens — is one of the holiest moments a human can experience. I honor it every time.
